Training/Event Description:

This training will focus on what language and interactions should look like in a high quality early child care program through the lens of the Early Childhood Environment Rating Scale-3 (ECERS-3) and exploration of teaching strategies to help providers support multi-age language and social emotional development. Providers will have the opportunity to engage in discussion with other providers on how to support and sustain best practices in their programs.

Each program administrator and teacher will partner to attend training. Teachers will be introduced to the new elements of the assessment tool and review how the added enhancements will impact teaching environments and interactions. Program administrators will explore the best means of supporting teachers in achieving high-quality programs. Together you will have a greater positive impact on the development and achievement of young children. Everyone benefits!
