Training/Event Description:

Learn how the Program Administration Scale (PAS) helps create the organizational conditions that support excellence in the early childhood learning environment and in the adult work environment.  This session will highlight how two states, Arkansas and Illinois, utilize the PAS in their QRIS to measure and improve program quality.

About the PAS

The Program Administration Scale (PAS) is a valid and reliable assessment tool used in numerous state and local QRIS to measure and improve organizational practices.  The PAS was intentionally designed to complement the environment rating scales based on the belief that high-quality interactions and learning environments at the classroom level cannot be sustained over time without quality systems in place at the organizational level.
