Training/Event Description:

How can you get the attention of busy families and help them stay engaged in children’s learning?  Communication is key and your program’s use of technology is one important tool to keep them connected. During this two-day, hands-on workshop, you will learn ways to connect with computer, tablet, and cell-phone users through a number of easy-to-manage applications.

Day 1: Connecting with Parents Using Web-based Tools

Sharing information in today’s fast-paced society is easier than ever, but what specific tech tools can make your job more efficient? We will explore the web-based tools that will help you connect with parents and staff quickly and easily.

Day 2: Mobile Applications to Engage Tech-Savvy Parents

Many staff and families in your program are connected all the time through mobile devices. How can you tap into their technology to keep them informed and involved?  Learn how to modernize your old phone-tree system. Discover applications that allow you to better engage smart phone users.

This training is part of a two day institute. Attendees can choose to register for one or both days.
