Family and teacher relationships are an important indicator of quality care for children. Research has indicated a correlation between strong, genuine, and supportive relationships between teachers and families and the social, emotional, and cognitive well-being of children. Administrators play an important role in assuring positive relationships with families in their program are developed and valued.
