Program Administration Scale | Missouri / Kansas Director Credentialing Pilot
Building upon a pilot project that began in 2005, the Mid-America Regional Council (MARC) located in Kansas City, Missouri sponsored a program to improve the quality of business operations within 40 early learning programs. Activities in the project included conducting assessments using the Program Administration Scale (PAS), developing quality improvement plans, and providing support to directors through topic-based networking meetings and individualized coaching. Scholarships were also available to assist participants in earning the Kansas/Missouri Director Credential. Evaluation of the project showed positive effects in administrative practice.
