This brief and insightful online module covers a variety of topics related to coaching. You will discover foundational and practical information to guide your journey as a coach in early childhood education. The module covers topics such as:

  • What do you mean when you say, “I am a trainer?”
  • What are the goals and priorities of coaching?
  • Digging deeper to anchor process features of quality
  • Why does high quality matter to children at risk?
  • Foundation concepts and skills of coaching
  • Planning for the practical aspects of coaching
  • Creating an Individual Development Plan
  • Coaching practices that work

The running time is approximately three hours, including time for completing activities such as videos, readings, and guided reflections. You do not need to complete this module all at one time; you may exit at any point and return where you left off.
