This module is the second in a three-part series.

This module will introduce you to the benefits of collaborative adult learning, as well as the foundational elements required to design collaborative learning experiences. It will explore the differences between two types of collaborative learning – communities of practice and cohorts. In the end, you will become more effective at guiding adult learners and influencing positive change. This module covers the following topics:

  • Cohorts and Communities of Practice
  • Principles of Adult Learning
  • Exploring Your Role as a Facilitator
  • Ready, Set, Go: Preparing to Activate Learning
  • Putting Learning into Practice

The running time is approximately three hours, including time for completing activities such as videos, readings, and guided reflections. You do not need to complete this module all at one time; you may exit at any point and return where you left off.
